"East Valley?" There's no figures for Kyrene SD, certainly in the East Valley, as is Tempe and Tempe Unified HS.

And Peoria, Deer Valley and Paradise Valley as East Valley?
I copied this from a news article-these were the only schools listed. We'll need to do some digging in order to get the rest of the info.

While digging, it would be helpful to know the average teacher salary and average # of students per teacher, as well. Just for comparison.
I picked the wrong profession....

What a crock!
Yes! We definitely need more transparency in the accounting of our schools. As we found out with MUSD transparency is not a priority to them which suggests that they have something to hide

LOL! Our Superintendent gets paid $250,000 + benefits worth over $50,000 for, ya ready? 2,300 students.
Just for fun you should check to see how many of these Superintendents are also collecting an AZ state retirement.
Ah, more double-dippers like Phoenix Police Chief/Public Safety Manager "Jack the Hack" Harris.

the reason mesa doesn't say 72601 is because I moved my kid to another district. That Phoenix union district is freaking highway robbery....
Phoenix and Scottsdale is outrageous!!!

New York per ObserverNY is obscene!
It would also be good to get all of the Assistant Superintendents and Director's pay records as well. This information is supposed to be available via a FOIA request (Freedom of Information Act). However, I've been stone-walled by the GPS admininstration on many requests for information. If anyone has more details on this I would appreciate it.

There are assistant superintendents who have abused their positions for personal profit or to benefit those of family members and/or close friends. The sharing of internal contract information, status on bids, and other internal information has been shared in the past. This has got to stop.

Does anyone have a job description for any of these positions referenced above?
Shane,
i am planning to file a FOIA request for info from GUSD. This should be a good exercise in the process if nothing else. I will consult with an attorney on this to make sure i get all the caveats squared away. What specific information would you like to have requested on this? Perhaps: Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, anyone else?
Harry
