I happened across your "IB" website wherein you poke fun at a local school district that is working hard to provide students multiple educational opportunities. You are not a responsible parent organizer and you are certainly not promoting responsible education. I find it difficult to understand how offering students a wide variety of educational offerings is being irresponsible. You apparently have not done your homework on the IB program, which is a shame. It is unfortunate when people who are uneducated in a certain area pretend to speak with certainty on the topic. There is an old saying you should consider, "better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Anyway, I won't take any more of my time trying to rationalize irrational thinking, but I do encourage you to learn more about the IB program and the many benefits it can offer students. And of course, it can't hurt to point out that these are schools/programs of choice. A parent need not send their child to the program if they feel that another program could be more beneficial for them, but it is wonderful to have this opportunity for those that desire it! Perhaps you should stop being selfish in your actions, as these programs are good for millions of students around the world, and we are fortunate to have this opportunity right here in our own backyard! Getting hate e-mail is a badge of honor. I can't tell you how much i have been insulted. Leftists have only 2 baisc strategies: Lies and intimidation. You counter lies with facts and you counter intimidation but standing your ground. Hang tough TJ. When you are right, you are right.

A couple of things about this email bug me. First, if IB is so great, why does the educrat establishment need to use taxpayer money to push it? Do private schools use IB? I bet that's rare. This "ja" is saying I'm selfish because I want to deny kids the use of this program. Hell, their parents can go buy it, but other taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay for material they find questionable. Also the wording here is near exactly what the superintendent of Mesa Schools said when we met with him. I gotta wonder if he has some toady doing his dirty work to intimidate me. I oughta send this email to the school board and point all this out.

If you send it to the school board they will deny it whether they were involved or not. Besides the school board is made up of folks who buy the ideology that the IB sells with all they are worth. As far as they are concerned, WE are the ones who need to be reeducated.

True they would deny it, but it would be stuck in their heads/hearts that we the people are on to their tactics and we are not going to stand idly by while our kids are being hammered into good little "global community" members.
