Taking Back America By Taking Back Our Schools

A sincere thank you to Tempe Union High School for posting the proposed new Sex Ed curriculum on their website.  This makes it much easier to review, especially for families who work during business hours.

Taxpayers, the Board plans to vote on this curriculum next Wednesday, August 20th. My guess is the meeting will be at 7PM, but the final agenda hasn't been posted.  The district office is at 500 W. Guadalupe, Tempe, at the NW corner of Kyrene and Guadalupe.

Take some time this weekend and look through this material and see what you think.  Does the material meet the criteria of SB1009, pro-life/adoption over abortion?  Is a heterosexual lifestyle promoted?  Are you as an adult comfortable with the material?

I'm hearing Mesa Public Schools has been welcoming to parents who are interested in viewing their Sex Ed curriculum.  School Districts are the closest layer of government to us, and we should welcome and enjoy the opportunity to work together.

Again, thanks to TUHSD for putting the curriculum on-line.

They can take that Gender Identity section and shove it off a cliff. I don't want to pay for that.

I'm with you there.

I reviewed the Reproductive System chapters today of 5 Anatomy books being used currently in TUHSD. They go into a ton of detailed science on reproduction, pregnancy, and birth control. There is no need for a Sex Ed curriculum when we are already paying for these books and the teachers to teach.

Thus, the desire for Sex Ed seems to be agenda-driven only.

Thank you for reviewing the curriculum.
