Taking Back America By Taking Back Our Schools

GILBERT, AZ - The Attorney General’s office says the Gilbert School Board broke the open meetings law by not clearly disclosing the location of its meetings.
In a letter from the AG’s office, the school board is ordered to admit to breaking the rules during a public meeting and be retrained on the Open Meetings Law.
A retraining session was held Tuesday night, but board member Julie Smith objected just minutes into the training, saying the letter hasn’t been made public and still isn't on the agenda to be discussed.
Smith is calling for board president Lily Tram to step down.
“She is not acting in the best interest of the parents and the constituents of this district and I’m calling on her to resign,” said Smith.

Yeah, it was an oversight; 6 TIMES!

Lily Tram says it's an "oversight"? Okay, the next time a parent opts their kid out of AZ Merit testing in Gilbert, we will call that an oversight.
They are required to have a do-ever of all the meetings where they violated Open Meeting Law. Wonder if that will ever happen. That could take a while - a good long while
